Research Topic: Social Media and Internet Use and Young Adult Mental Health and Well-being

Research Project: The percentage of young adults experiencing mood disorders has significantly increased, with no comparable rise observed in other age groups, potentially coinciding with global increases in social media and internet use. Using a hybrid data collection platform, both electronically and in person, this study aims to investigate how internet and social media use affect mental health and self-perceived well-being among individuals aged 18–30.

In my free time, I love going for outdoor walks, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with my friends!
