Research Topic: Auditory Perceptual Disorders in Adults with Traumatic Brain Injury

Research Project: My research examines peripheral hearing and central auditory processing in adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI). TBI can result in a range of peripheral and central auditory difficulties, including hearing loss and problems processing complex or competing sounds, which may affect communication and everyday listening. My study will assess peripheral and central auditory processing abilities using behavioral and electrophysiological outcome measures. This research will help better characterize patterns of auditory difficulty following TBI and contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of their potential clinical and rehabilitative implications.

In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding and reading.
