Dr. Aaron J. Newman is Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. He is the Director of the NeuroCognitive Imaging Lab (NCIL) and holds cross-appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Surgery. His research focuses on exploring the relationships between brain activity and cognitive processes using advanced neuroimaging tools. At NCIL, Dr. Newman leads research initiatives in areas including neuroimaging, brain-computer interfaces, language processing, reading development, second language acquisition, and data science.
